Pennies has been with Banquette since opening day—back when there was one bar and zero followers. Since then, we’ve grown its audience to 20K+, helped open location number two, and kept Pennies recognizable online and IRL with printed assets, merch, and programming development as it went from neighbourhood spot to one of Toronto’s best-known casual dining brands.

A refreshed identity is one thing. Making it hold up across seven cities is another. SPIN brought Banquette in to take the brand beyond the deck. Today, we lead social and content across all seven U.S. locations, plus paid campaigns, email, and partnerships. It all adds up to a full marketing setup that keeps SPIN recognizably SPIN from city to city.

Love Good came to Banquette with new owners, new positioning, and a protein bar that needed more than a new wrapper to get noticed again.  We led the reintroduction across social, and help with email, partnerships, and in-person activations to bring its bars off the shelf and into more carts.

Paris Paris already had the wine, the room, and the regulars. Banquette came in to reinvigorate its social presence by better capturing the space's personality and celebrating the community the brand had built—while keeping Paris Paris top of mind in between visits.

Barbet was fresh to the market and had enough content to fill their feed, but Banquette gave them the strategy for it to work. We turned their library into a social plan, then built out their systems, templates, and email marketing so the brand could continue to connect.

The Banquette POV

  • On Record

    ### On Record

At a minimum, social media keeps a brand current. Getting people to recognize the name, walk through the door, or pick it off the shelf takes knowing what belongs in the feed and what should stay trapped in someone else’s trending audio.

Banquette has been making those calls since 2017 by leading with strategy, following it up with the cool factor, and never forgetting how important community is to becoming (and staying) relevant.

  • For Context

    ### For Context

Banquette was built around hospitality. Before founding it, Chloe ran the marketing department of a hospitality group, feeding her obsession with restaurants that make up the fabric of a city, and what turns one good night into a place people return to.

Even as Banquette has grown into a team, that instinct still runs through our work: getting brands off the screen and into people’s plans, carts, and regular rotations while making sure our clients feel like they’re sitting at the best seat in the house.

  • Between Us

    ### Between Us

Banquette gets close enough to your business to understand the half-formed questions, make fast calls, and know when social is only the start.

Our systems are tested, but how we work with your team stays flexible. Hand us the keys and let us run, or keep us at the table and make the calls together. Either way, we bring strong industry connections, the level of support your team needs, and very little appetite for back-and-forth agency bullshit.
